New DJI Osmo Pocket 4 spotted in Malaysia store

Listen to article

A new video recently leaked online appears to show the unannounced DJI Osmo Pocket 4 camera being used in the real world. The footage was reportedly filmed inside an official DJI store in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, after a person walked in carrying the new device. This comes as the current Pocket 3 model approaches its third year on the market, leading many to believe a replacement is coming soon.

The leaked device looks similar to the current model but features a longer body and a new “C” button. It also appears to have a dedicated zoom button and a built-in LED light labeled “OSMO” on the gimbal. While some rumors suggested a dual-lens design, this specific unit has a single lens, which might mean DJI is planning both a standard and a “Pro” version.

According to technical details from an early Amazon listing in Denmark, the Pocket 4 may keep the 1-inch sensor but improve its video speed. It might be able to record 4K video at 240 frames per second, which is double the speed of the current version.

The longer body could also mean it has a larger battery for longer filming sessions. Prices are expected to range between $550 and $700, though costs in the United States could be higher due to trade taxes.
