15-Hour Theoretical Driving Course free at LTO

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has announced that the 15-hour Theoretical Driving Course is free at LTO Driver’s Education Centers.

Under Memorandum Circular No. 2019-2176, the 15-hour Theoretical Driving Course is one of the requirements implemented by the LTO before one could get a student permit. The LTO is making this free and all you need is to get a schedule at your nearest LTO Driver’s Education Center. Click here 39 or LTO’s post here 28 for the list.

Driving lessons for those who will get student permit.but they raised the price for the license i heard it 8500 now before it was 800 something .seems worthless for many people in times of pandemic .and I’m sure the non prof and prof raise the price as well ..everybody could learn to drive in many ways..

Good Day dito po sa Bongao Tawi-Tawi 1500 na po ang Theorical Yung umpisa 1K tapos kung mag Non Prof ka Kailangan my Actual Driving pero napaka mahal ho halimbawa ho kukuha ka ng 1 & 2 ang babayaran mo sa Driving School ay 6K kasin Code 1 2500 Code 2 (3,500.) Plus sa LTO HALUS 8K SAAN NAMAN PO KAMI KUKUHA NG GANITONG KALAKING HALAGA MAAWA NAMAN SILA SA AMIN

Dto sa lipa batangas hindi naman libre. 2500 initial na babayaran dun sa driving center. Bakit may advisory na ganito?

cebu region ay sa year 2023 pa magsimula ang “free” theoretical course. LOL
galing ako sa lto to avail. I brought my cert of indigency kasi ito daw ang “requirement”. Pota sayang lang effort ko sa pagkuha ng cert. pagdating ko sa LTO office ay pinasulat lang kami sa papel. name and phone number. sabi sa nag bantay ay magtext lang daw sila.
