A postpaid plan is basically a mobile phone service plan where you get billed for the services you use at the end of each billing cycle.
The convenient thing about postpaid plans is they usually offer more features and benefits compared to prepaid, such as higher data allowances, unlimited calling and texting, landline calls, and even a perk to finance or subsidize the purchase of a new device of your choice.

In this guide, we will compare the offerings of Globe and Smart postpaid plans in 2023. Specifically, we will be looking at Globe’s GPlan and Smart’s Signature Plans, as well as their respective variations such as plan+device combo, with GCash, and all-data SIM-only plans.
Globe Postpaid
Globe has four primary offerings under the GPlan package, which are quite confusing at first glance, but kind of intended to cover every customer’s need and preference.
Namely, a SIM-only plan which offers double the GBs for passionate users; while the SIM-only All-Data plan offers the biggest data plan, going as high as 80GB of data per month; and the GPlan with Device in which customers can enjoy their plan with a phone or relevant gadget; and the GPlan with GCash option provides “limitless life enablers” to choose from, such as premium content subscriptions, vouchers, or GCash credits.
Globe Postpaid also offers Disney+ mobile access included for a year with new or renewing customers with GPlan 1799 to 2499.
If you’re an existing customer with a GPlan between 799 to 2499, you can also add Disney+ to your plan by converting GBs to points and redeeming vouchers through the GlobeOne app.
Globe also makes it easier for you to choose your plan with their Mobile Postpaid plan generator. Simply fill-out the necessary information, then you can review your plan once you do so.

Smart Postpaid
Smart Postpaid, on the other hand, is much more simplified with only two primary offerings — the Signature and Infinity plans.
The Signature plans come into three sub-categories such as the default SIM-only Signature plans, the Signature Device plans, and interestingly, another list of Signature Plans PLUS with Device.
Under Infinity, it only has three ‘Limitless Plans’ which offer unlimited data, calls and text, and landline calls with premium device amortizations. These plans also have various perks, including a personal relationship manager, and 24/7 dedicated hotline for assistance.
Smart also offers Netflix Mobile access and Apple Music inclusions to certain postpaid plans.
