realme has confirmed that it will launch the realme GT 7 on April 23 in China.

While the key specs are basically still under wraps, realme confirmed some key features of the realme GT 7. It is expected to be the first phone to use MediaTek’s newly announced Dimensity 9400+ flagship SoC.

The phone will pack a minimum of 7000mAh capacity with support for 100W wired charging. Despite the high-capacity battery, the phone gets a slim body measuring 8.5mm thick.

To keep things cool, the realme GT 7 deploys the industry’s largest 7700mm² with a cooling system made with graphene.

So far, those are the officially revealed details about the phone.

Based on recent rumors, the phone will include a 144Hz flat OLED display from BOE, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and full water and dust protection with IP68/ IP69 ratings.

For optics, the main sensor is expected to be 50 megapixels with optical image stabilization. Combined with the other specs, the GT 7 seems positioned to compete with much more expensive flagships.

In comparison, the OPPO Find X8s, which uses the same chip, launched at CNY 4,199. realme is teasing a price under CNY 3,000, which could make the realme GT 7 one of the most affordable high-end phones this year, at least in India.
