Hurun Report ranks 10 richest billionaires in the Philippines

Hurun Report released late last March their the Hurun Global Rich List 2023, a ranking of the US dollar billionaires in the world.

These wealth calculations are a snapshot of the rankings as of 16 January 2023.

According to the list, Manuel Villar of Golden Bria Holdings ranks number 1 in the Philippines with a wealth of up to USD $7.7 billion. Second, is Enrigue Razon Jr of International Container Terminal Services at USD $5.7 billion. Thirdly is Robert Coyiuto Jr. of the National Grid Corporation at USD $ 2.7 billion.

Rounding out the top 5 are Tony Tan Caktiong of Jollibee Foods at USD $2.6 billion and Ramon S. Ang of San Miguel at USD $2.5 billion.

The rest of the top 10 is listed below:

  8. Hans Tan Sy (SM Investments) – USD $2.0 billion
  9. Harley Tan Sy (SM Investments) USD $2.0 billion
  10. Teresita T. Sy-Coson (SM Investments) USD $1.8 billion

This is the 12th year of the ranking. JDYD Liquor, a premium Chinese baijiu brand, is the title sponsor of the list for the second year.
