OPPO F11 Pro vs Vivo V15 Pro specs comparison

OPPO has finally unveiled their F11 Pro smartphone that features a notch-less screen, a motorized pop-up front camera, and a 48MP rear main camera. If the specs sound familiar, that is because Vivo has also released a smartphone with the same features last month, the V15 Pro. Let’s take these devices for a quick specs comparison to see which has the upper hand.

Summary of advantages

OPPO F11 Pro:
• Slightly larger screen
• Larger 4,000mAh battery
• Priced lower (based on Indian SRP)

Vivo V15 Pro:
• Triple rear camera setup w/ 5MP ultra-wide camera
• Higher 32MP front camera resolution
• MicroSD card support
• In-display fingerprint scanner

By now it’s no longer a surprise if OPPO and Vivo devices have a lot in common. Even from the design perspective, these two phones look alike. Their screens are of almost the same size. The F11 Pro is slightly larger, but only by 0.14-inch. Both have Full HD+ resolutions but the V15 Pro has more pixels, but negligible at a 5ppi difference.

The two also use different display panels. The F11 Pro has an LTPS IPS while the V15 Pro has a Super AMOLED. Both have their own merits, but you can expect a pleasant viewing experience from these smartphones.

When it comes to imaging, the V15 Pro has the advantage for having triple rear cameras which includes a 48MP main, 5MP ultra-wide, and a 5MP depth camera, giving the user more versatility when shooting different subjects. The F11 Pro, on the other hand, only has a 48MP main and 5MP depth cameras. Selfie-wise, the V15 Pro again has the advantage for having double the camera resolution found on the F11 Pro.

For the storage, the V15 Pro wins again for starting at 128GB with support for microSD cards of up to 256GB capacities. The F11 Pro, on the other hand, is stuck at a non-expandable 64GB.

The two also have fingerprint scanners, however, the F11 Pro uses the traditional one mounted at the rear of the phone. The V15 Pro, on the other hand, uses the fancier in-display scanner. In our experience, traditional scanners are faster than their in-display counterparts. But having an in-display scanner also provides some advantages like better aesthetics and cool factor.

Looking at the batteries, the F11 Pro wins for having a larger capacity, 300mAh more than the V15 Pro. Both have their fast-charging technologies.

The two phones use different chipsets – Helio P70 for the F11 Pro and Snapdragon 675 for the V15 Pro. Both are mid-range chips with AI features. The two phones also pack 6GB of RAM which is more than enough for mid to heavy usage. As for their performance, we’ll know which one is better once we have reviewed and benchmarked both phones.

Lastly, pricing. Here are the prices of each smartphone:

• OPPO F11 Pro – PHP 18,990
• Vivo V15 Pro – PHP 23,999

The F11 Pro has the upper hand and will be more appealing to those with a smaller budget given that they have a PHP 5K difference.

But if you were to pick, is it the F11 Pro or the V15 Pro? Let us know in the comments below.
