Author’s Note: The V11 specs mentioned is based on the information released internationally and may have some slight differences from the model that will arrive in the Philippines.

Here are the advantages of each smartphone:

VIVO V11

  • Smaller notch
  • Slightly larger screen size
  • Higher screen aspect ratio
  • Dedicated microSD card slot
  • Slightly higher horizontal screen resolution
  • Higher front camera resolution
  • Updated FunTouch OS out-of-the-box
  • Slightly larger battery capacity

VIVO X21 UD

  • Higher maximum internal storage capacity
  • Voice Unlock

From the advantages listed above, it would seem like we have a clear winner but let’s tackle each key smartphone aspects first.

The display configuration of the V11 has the upper-hand in terms of viewing experience. Its larger display, aspect ratio, and horizontal resolution make it the more suitable pick when it comes to watching videos and movies. It also has a smaller notch compared to the X21 UD which is a plus for me, at least.

Both smartphones are powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor, however, the V11 comes with AIE technology. We’ve yet to know the effects of this tech. Regardless, users who are looking for an above average CPU performance and great gaming experience should consider buying any of the two.

The rear camera resolution and aperture of both devices are identical to each other so we can safely say that they have the same quality. For the front camera, however, the V11 gets the upper-hand as it contains a higher resolution than the X21 UD. Check out our sample shots for the VIVO X21 UD.

We cannot determine yet which smartphone has a better performing battery performance but on paper, the V11 has a larger battery capacity. Another new term that VIVO introduced is the dual-engine fast charging. They didn’t specify what it does and how it affects charging time but we’ll know once it arrives in the country.

Based on what we spotted recently, the VIVO V11 is priced at Php19,990 while the X21 UD is priced at Php29,999. The winner in this specs comparison is clear especially when it comes to price-to-specs ratio.
