HONOR has officially taken the wraps off its new Magic8 series in China, introducing the Magic8 and Magic8 Pro as its latest flagships powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Both phones debut the brand’s new AI button, offering one-tap access to the upgraded Yoyo AI assistant.

The Magic8 Pro leads the charge with a triple rear camera setup featuring a 200MP telephoto sensor with 3.7x optical zoom, a 50MP main camera, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. It sports a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display with up to 6,000 nits of brightness, plus a 50MP selfie shooter and 3D depth sensor. Powering it is a 7,200mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging.

Meanwhile, the standard Magic8 carries the same chipset and AI button but scales down to a 6.58-inch OLED LTPO display and a 7,000mAh battery with 90W wired charging. It also features a 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and 64MP telephoto setup, along with a 50MP front camera.

Both phones run MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 and come in Sunrise Gold, Sky Cyan, and Black. In China, pricing starts at CNY 4,499 ( PHP 36,500) for the base Magic8, while the Magic8 Pro begins at CNY 5,699 ( PHP 46,300). Pre-orders are now live, with sales starting October 23. A global rollout is expected soon.
