The two-day tournament for the second season of Mobile Legends MPL (Professional League) Philippines concluded just moments ago with Cignal Ultra winning 3 out of the 5 games in the grand finals.
Bren eSports finished the matches with 7 wins and 2 losses at 20 points while Cignal Ultra also got 7 wins and 2 losses but with only 18 points.
Cignal Ultra and Bren eSports faced off in the finals with a “best of 5” games. Cignal Ultra eventually won with a 3-1 win rate against Bren eSports.
Last July 2018, Bren eSports acquired the roster of Aether Main to represent its Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team in tournaments. Looks like that investment has paid off.
A total of 8 teams battle it out with a total prize pot of $100,000 (Php5,220,000 in local foreign exchange rates).
Here are the rankings of the 10 teams prior to the finals:
The season started last September 8 – 9, 2018 for online qualifiers while the grand finals were held from January 12 -13, 2019.
May error po yata kayo sa exchange rate. 100,000 USD is not PHP 552,000, it’s PHP 5,218,000.00.
