How about a Blogger Christmas Meetup on Dec. 22?

I’ve been asked numerous times to set a date for a mini get-together this December. My schedule is really fully booked but December 22, 2006 (that’s a Friday) is a good time to have one.

Anybody interested? This is a Friday evening so maybe we could have it at the Mall of Asia or something?

Any suggestions? Who’s coming? This is dinner, coffee and photo-shoot afterwards. Informal meet-up just like what we all used to have before. We can plan and do a bigger one on January.

So line up and list your names now. Invite others too. :)

  1. hopefully nothing sprouts up, but im in!…..so far…;)

  2. Have a good one!

Looks like I’ll be going out of the country for a project, again.

  3. I can go. And my daughter said she’ll go this time :)

  4. waahh! not MOA please. Make it in Makati or Ortigas (preferred!)….:-)

  5. Are you going to pay for everyone? That would be a white Christmas for everyone.

  6. MoA?! Seriously? I’m in! :D

This would be my first time to actually make it to a blogger meet-up. Hope it pushes through. :)

  7. game!

  8. hi estan, yup sure!

    @ others

This is the only date on a weekend I can make it too (unless we go for a week day).

MOA is huge and cozy we could hang out on so many places without having to worry about seats and space.

  9. @ Yuga

Are you going to treat everyone to this event since you are making the invitation?

  10. @ pogi

I can’t categorically say yes or no. But people who went to previous meet-ups we have know what the chances are. :D

  11. You didnt answer the question.

  12. Have a good one. I’m flying out the day before :)

  13. pogi: chances are… no?

abe: count me and the husband in :D naks!

  14. Who is dressing up as Santa Claus? A Christmas party needs Santa Claus. I am down for the photo-shot during the get together. Can I be the centerfold Yuga? I am a beautiful subject. I have a suggestion for dinner. How about Jollibee’s? I think that will be affordable for everyone. We are not all rich like some people.

  15. @ jayvee & seav

This could all happen between 6PM to 2AM at MOA so there’s time for others to catch up.

    @ pogi

Here’s the deal. If you could come down here on the 22nd from California, I’ll treat everyone to a round of Chickenjoy or Starbucks (that way I could get my card stamped).

    How’s that for a teaser? ;)

    @ marc

Flying out? Are you immigrating? I thought you said it wasn’t cool to immigrate?

  16. “I’ll treat everyone to a round of Chickenjoy or Starbucks (that way I could get my card stamped)”. You just heard that from him.

Thats a done deal… although I am not from California. Thanks that will make it a great get together. We appreciate that.

  17. sasama ang ituloy angsulong movement =) hayan, may santa claus na! :D

  18. @ pogi

Ika nga nila “share your blessings and it will come back to you seven times seven folds”. :)

  19. Move to December 21 or December 23?

I thought Global Sex Day is December 23? :p

  20. Sorry, I go back to Belgium. Hopefully next time!

  21. I think I can go.

Hey, have you heard? I finally convinced Bo Sanchez (kerygma magazine’s funny preacher) to BLOG!

http://bosanchez.ph — is his blog, he has the *celeb* advantage as his blog hits ave 20,000 hits a day since he began Nov.

Well it really helps that he’s upped the ante and now does a DAILY VODCAST – youtube style called “Preacher in Blue Jeans”. Check it out – the link’s in his blog, too.

    Jomar

  22. @ jomar: That is awesome! I have a friend who is a big fan of Bo Sanchez. He’ll love this. :)

  23. @ade: ahem ahem…he posted an email “interview” I had with him here

And he has helped me get more subscribers for my ezine. Definitely draws traffic.

@Jomar: It would be fun if Bo could meet bloggers, wouldn’t it?

@Yuga: Where in Mall of Asia city will this be? YUng may free Wi-fi (paging Sorsi, Globe, anybody)

  24. Baang Coffee has free WiFi in Mall of Asia. But a big buncha bloggers won’t fit!

I’ll be in the country after all. But, it’s our office/group of companies party. See y’all in January!

  25. vote if you want to hear Bo talk sa gmik natin. i’ll be fun. or maybe if you wanna meet him.

    jomar

  26. jomar, it would be nice to have Bo! :) Tamang-tama sa pasko.
