vivo Y36: Capturing Beautiful Content

Diving into the world of content creation can be expensive. However, if you’re just starting out, you don’t really need to invest in an expensive mirrorless camera, microphone, and other equipment. Sometimes, all you need is a smartphone with a capable camera and you’re good to go – a smartphone like the vivo Y36.

The vivo Y36 ticks all the right boxes to help up-and-coming content creators capture beautiful images and footage. For starters, you have a Snapdragon 680 chipset with 8GB RAM plus an additional 8GB virtual RAM.

The phone also comes with 256GB internal storage to store all the footage you have captured. If you need more storage, a microSD card slot can further expand storage capacity. Best of all the price: the vivo Y36 retails for just PHP 12,999, making it easy on your wallet.

Aside from being affordable, the vivo Y36 is a great-looking phone too. It features a slim body with a 2.5D curved design within a flat frame and a fluorite anti-glare glass appearance that gives the smartphone a premium look. The way the color back panel also reflects light will certainly catch the attention of people too. You won’t be shy to bring this phone out wherever you go, especially if you’re going to be capturing content.

But one crucial feature to capture content is a capable camera. The vivo Y36 features a dual rear camera with a 50MP f/1.8 main lens and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. At the same time, you have a 16MP f/2.0 front camera with Aura Light to capture amazing selfie images and clear front video shots even in low-light situations.

First time doing content creation with the vivo Y36? Here are a few tips to help improve your photos and videos with this smartphone. When taking photos with the vivo Y36, it’s best to leave the camera in the standard photo mode. The camera automatically adjusts the setting for you, making life a lot easier. This means all you have to do is frame the shot, and you’re good to go.

Given the capability of the vivo Y36’s camera, you don’t even have to edit the photo anymore. Out of the box, you get sharp images all around with very vivid colors and high contrast. Find yourself a bit far? The 2x zoom on this smartphone is still very sharp, similar to the 1x zoom.

Alternatively, you can use the vivo Y36’s 50MP mode to your full advantage. Even if you zoom in and crop, you still get relatively sharp images. There’s a bit of digital enhancement, but it’s not overly enhanced that you lose details when zooming in. If you want to be a bit more artistic, you can even try out the double exposure mode to simulate a film-like effect.

When it comes to shooting video, you won’t need to invest in a gimbal just yet. The vivo Y36 features image stabilization, making it easier to shoot hand-held cinematic shots. Not to mention the Y36 is capable of shooting video at a maximum of 1080P@30FPS for both the front and rear cameras.

Similar to the photos, the videos are nice and smooth if you have stabilization turned on. There’s even a pause function if you want to stitch your videos immediately as you shoot. In turn, this would make it easier to edit later on if still need to.

So if you want to start your journey to becoming a content creator, the vivo Y36 can be your best friend. It’s affordable, looks good, and is very capable too. Aside from capturing photos and videos, you can even casually game at the same time. There are two colors available to choose from as well – the louder Glitter Aqua color or the more subtle Meteor Black. Which one is better? Well, that choice is yours to make.

If you’re interested in buying the vivo Y36, the smartphone is now available on the vivo Philippines website as well as physical stores and the brand’s official Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok pages.
