BitTorrent Client, anything new?

For several years now, I have only tried a single bittorent client ever – BitTornado. I have heard of a lot other clients available out there, most of them seem to be more popular than the one I am currently using — there’s azureus, uTorrent, BitComet, Turbo Torrent, Bit Lord, Shareaza, etc (see complete list here).

My question is, “Am I missing anything new out there?”

What bittorent clients have you tried and which one do you think works best? Are some clients faster than the others? Are there any special/extra features out there I should know about? Just curious.

For the uninitiated, BitTorrent is the name of a client application for the torrent peer-to-peer (P2P) file distribution protocol created by programmer Bram Cohen. BitTorrent is designed to widely distribute large amounts of data without incurring the corresponding consumption in server and bandwidth resources (and typically, monetary fees attracted as a result of that). Of course, I’m just using it to download video podcasts of my favorite shows — TWiT, Diggnation, Inside the Net, Indigital and systm (see Revision3).
