Shopping for a laptop can be quite confusing for most folks and if you’re like me, you probably got the base model with the least amount of storage. You also probably keep a ton of files on your desktop and later see yourself scrambling for extra storage as you run out of space at some point.  Then getting an external hard drive may sound like a great idea for backing up your files.

Although you could opt to get some cloud storage, that would mean spending a monthly subscription fee and also if you don’t have access to high-speed Wi-Fi, then uploading and downloading larger files could be quite the hassle.
