Going Full Samsung: How much will it cost?

Samsung is one of the most versatile tech brands, offering from smartphones to appliances. A few months ago, Samsung released several devices, which include the Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Watch Active S2, and a few other accessories.

In line with that, you might be wondering: How much will it cost you to go full-on Samsung this 2020?

The Basics

Smartphone

Even though Samsung has a variety of smartphones to choose from, for this list, we will go for their base flagship model, the Galaxy S20. It’s got one of the best set of cameras, chipset, and display in the market. If you’re totally fine with missing out on some of the Galaxy S20 Ultra’s extra features like the 45W fast charging, bigger display, and better cameras, the Galaxy S20 will do you just fine at the starting price of PHP 49,990 for the 8GB + 128GB variant.

Accessories

Smartwatch

One of the best-designed smartwatches on the market, the Watch Active 2 has a circular 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display and IP68 Water Resistance. The Watch Active 2 smartwatch costs PHP 13,990 for the 40mm version. If this is too small for you, you can get the 44mm for PHP 19,990.

Earbuds

Samsung offers two variants of their wireless earphones, the Galaxy Buds+ and the Galaxy Buds. The Galaxy Buds costs PHP 5,990. But if you want extra features such as 2-way Dynamic sound, and 11hrs of playback, The Galaxy Buds+ costs PHP 6,990.

For entertainment

Tablet

One of the best Android tablets from last year, the Galaxy Tab S6 offers a dual camera, a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display. It has better accessory support like S Pen and keyboard, which come free. It also has better sound with AKG speakers with Dolby Atmos. The Galaxy Tab S6 costs PHP 47,990.

Why do you want to go full Samsung? One reason is its connected ecosystem; this is important, especially when you don’t like iOS; Samsung can provide you the same continuity features across all of your Samsung devices. Having the ability to answer calls and texts from your phone to your tablet or your smartwatch is pretty convenient. Owning devices under the same ecosystem offers a seamless connection between each device.

But of course, going full-on Samsung isn’t cheap. Although they’ve got a lot of entry-level smartphones and other devices, if you want to take advantage of what Samsung can offer, you need to spend quite a lot of money.
