In July 2024, we saw a total of 24 gadgets launched across various categories in the Philippines. Smartphones led the charge with 12 new models hitting the market, including the vivo Y28, OPPO Reno12 Series 5G, HONOR 200 Series, Redmi 13, and TECNO SPARK 20 Pro 5G, among others.
For audio enthusiasts, three new speakers were introduced—JBL Live 3 Series, Soundgear Frames, and PartyBox. Laptop users weren’t left behind, with three models making their debut: ASUS Vivobook S15, HUAWEI MateBook 14 (2024), and the TECNO Megabook S1.
Smartwatches also saw three new entries, featuring the Samsung Galaxy Watch7, Watch Ultra, and OPPO Watch X.
Tablet users were treated to the release of the Redmi Pad Pro, while digital services such as PhilHealth’s inclusion in the eGov PH app and BSP’s new digital payment offerings also made headlines.
Additionally, Samsung introduced the Bud3 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) earbuds for audio lovers on the go, and for gamers the Deadpool & Wolverine TTRacing Gaming Chair.
