One of the main advantages of the Apple iPhone 7 Plus over the iPhone 7 is the company’s implementation of the dual rear cameras comprising of wide-angle and telephoto lenses. Apple released a series of sample photos taken using the 7 Plus including shots showing one more trick up its sleeve — a shallow depth of field or Bokeh effect.

Basing from the images above, the dual rear shooters of the 7 Plus offers great contrast and sharp details. Colors look very natural too while the darks maintain a realistic depth to it.
As for its Portrait Mode, or producing the Bokeh effect, it still does look a bit unnatural as the blurring tends to look too fine. However, it is still pretty impressive keeping in mind that these came from a smartphone.
There’s also a sample video showing the OIS or optical image stabilization baked into the camera department of both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
What do you think of these samples?
