नोकिया एलसीटी-एल्यूसेंट को 15.6 बिलियन यूरो में अधिग्रहित करने जा रहा है ⟦…⟧

नोकिया ने फ्रांसीसी वैश्विक दूरसंचार उपकरण कंपनी, अल्काटेल-ल्यूसेंट, को 15.6 अरब यूरो में अधिग्रहित करने की घोषणा की है।

नोकिया और अल्काटेल-ल्यूसेंट की योजनाबद्ध विलय नेटवर्किंग तकनीक और सेवाओं में एक नवाचार नेता बनाने का प्रयास है। नई कंपनी का नाम नोकिया कॉरपोरेशन होगा और इसका मुख्यालय फिनलैंड में होगा, जबकि फ्रांस में भी मजबूत उपस्थिति होगी।

संयुक्त कंपनी भविष्य की तकनीकों के विकास को "त्वरित करने" के लिए स्थिति में है, जिनमें 5G, IP और सॉफ्टवेयर-परिभाषित नेटवर्किंग, क्लाउड, विश्लेषण तथा संवेदक और इमेजिंग शामिल हैं। इसके अलावा, यह एलकेटी-एल्यूसेंट के बेल लैब्स और नोकिया के फ्यूचरवर्क्स का लाभ उठाएगी, साथ ही नोकिया टेक्नोलॉजीज भी एक स्वतंत्र इकाई के रूप में बना रहेगा।

"एक साथ, अल्काटेल-ल्यूसेंट और नोकिया अगली पीढ़ी की नेटवर्क प्रौद्योगिकी और सेवाओं में अग्रणी होने का इरादा रखते हैं, जिसके तहत लोगों और वस्तुओं के लिए जहाँ भी वे हों, निरंतर कनेक्टिविटी सृजित करने की क्षमता होगी," नोकिया के अध्यक्ष और मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी राजीव सुरी ने कहा।

Guys, this is purely on the network side of Nokia’s business targeting enterprise customers. The move was strategic and is aimed at challenging incumbent Ericsson and to some extent, Huawei, in global telecom equipment. Don’t confuse the deal as having any implications towards consumer mobile devices. $0.2.

TCL6only licenses the name from Alcatel (why would anyone be moronic enough to do that is beyond me.) And Nokia is only not allowed to make smartphones for 10 years after the deal with the devil, err, Microsoft. So pwede talaga nilang gamitin ang Alcatel as a launch pad for their over priced phones. –

nokia is allowed to release smartphones under their brand as early as next year if i remember correctly. tcl did not license the alcatel name, its a joint venture with alcatel-lucent.

again this deal is for telecommunications equipment NOT handset manufacturing. nokia has already exited that business and has only shown openness in licensing their brand name, not establishing a new devices division.

Network Infrastructure division po yang mga yan ah tsaka Alcatel-Lucent is not Alcatel na yung phone, hindi sila may ari nun TCL na, wag i-connect yung Alcatel na phones sa Alcatel-Lucent. Mamaya sabihin niyo “Ayun Nokia na gagawa ng mga Alcatel na phones!” again Network Infrastructures.

guys, I think this is not related to mobile devices but rather on the network element side. yung mobile phone division of nokia is already sold to microsoft right? any ideas?

Take note nowadays there is no such thing as Nokia phones! Binili na po un ng Microsoft.. Telecom po nila pinaguusapan natin

lol people are connecting this to nokia making consumer devices again. this concerns network equipment, not the alcatel phones you know.

This could impact the joint venture with TCL. If not magmamahal na naman ang phones nila. Which would lead to lower sales. Which would lead to financial struggling for Nokia. Again.
