Now, a prototype realme GT7 Pro purportedly rocking the Snapdragon 8 Elite has surfaced online with a record-breaking score of up to 3,025,991 points in AnTuTu.

That is almost double the score of Apple’s latest A18 Pro that managed to get 1,651,728 points on the same benchmark.

However, the source noted that AnTuTu uses different technologies between platforms — Vulkan (Android) and Metal (iOS). Hence, a direct comparison may not indicate true gaps in performance.

On paper, the Snapdragon 8 Elite catches up to the competition, as it is built on 3-nanometer (nm) process node and integrated with Adreno 830 GPU.

It is expected to come in two versions: a regular with two performance cores clocked at 4.09GHz, and a premium option that comes with two cores running at faster 4.32GHz clock speeds.

The chip’s Geekbench results also leaked earlier, garnering 3,260 (single core) and 10,051 (multi-core); up to 125 fps in GFXBench and 166 fps in DreamWorks Wild Life.

These scores are still much higher comparison with Apple A18 Pro with 3,182 (single core) and 7,872 (multi-core) in the same benchmark.

Qualcomm’s upcoming new flagship chip is set to launch between October 21 to 23 at the Snapdragon Summit.

The first smartphones to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite are realme GT7 Pro, iQOO 13, OnePlus 13, and Xiaomi 15 Series.
