Nothing announces Essential Space updates

Listen to article

Nothing has announced updates for Essential Space, an AI-powered hub that comes with the Nothing Phone (3) series. For reference, this was designed to streamline daily tasks and can be accessed with the dedicated Essential Key button.

One of the new updates includes Google Calendar integration. This allows users to sync Essential Space with to-do lists straight to the calendar.

Another addition is Editable Memory, which allows users to review and edit summaries generated by AI.

There were also improvements for Essential Recorder, such as editable summaries for meetings and/or conversations. It also now has the ability to share summaries in various formats. You can now share them as an image, PDF, or Markdown with anyone.

Getting these doesn’t require users to get a full Nothing OS update. Users can get the automatic update over Wi-Fi or manually via the Google Play Store.

Readers should take note that the Essential Recorder updates are currently exclusive for the Nothing Phone (3). Support for other Nothing models with Essential Key have yet to be announced.
