OnePlus is set to release its first foldable smartphone by the end of Q3 2023 as they previously confirmed in their last February event.
The original report comes from Max Jambor and SmartPrix as the event is set to take place on the 29th of August in New York as communicated by the reliable tipster Arvind.

Jambor also revealed that the OnePlus foldable will be reportedly dubbed as the “OnePlus Open” as the company had trademarked this name back in May.
Moreover, the OnePlus Open is rumored to have a 7.8-inch foldable inner display while the outer display will feature a 6.3-inch screen with both having a 120Hz refresh rate.
It’s also rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with up to 16GB of RAM and a minimum of 256GB of storage.

The cameras anticipated on the OnePlus Open are said to be a 48MP main, 48MP ultrawide, and a 64MP telephoto lens.
It’s also said to have a 4,800 mAh battery with 67W fast charging and a fingerprint sensor on the side.
