LBC TXT Remit, one of LBC Express, Inc.'s newest service that allows you to send and receive money through SMS, is finally available in greater Metro Manila and Luzon.

The service is pretty simple. The sender first needs to buy a prepaid card which comes in three denominations: Php1,500, Php1,000, and Php500. Upon purchase, the sender needs to scratch the back of the card to reveal the PIN which the he/she can send via SMS using the syntax LBCTRIPP/ to 2910.
This service is faster and more convenient especially for those who are just sending small amounts as it doesn't require the sender to bring an ID and fill up forms. We're yet to try this service ourselves but if you've already done this please share your experience by writing it down the comments field below.
