Epson juga mengikuti jejak pasar netbook dengan netbook baru mereka yang diluncurkan, Epson Endeavor, yang kini dijual di Jepang dengan harga setara Rp23.500.
Tidak ada yang mengesankan atau revolusioner, tetapi saya berharap Epson telah berusaha lebih keras agar netbook mereka tidak terlihat murah atau jelek (via Akihabara News).

Tidak ada informasi mengenai OS apa yang akan diinstal sebelumnya (tapi saya yakin itu tetap Windows XP) atau peringkat baterainya. Tampaknya juga terdapat webcam, berdasarkan foto tersebut, namun tidak dapat dipastikan apakah itu 1.3MP biasa atau hanya VGA.
Kadang-kadang, rasanya seperti beberapa produsen hanya berbelanja di Tiongkok dan menempelkan logo mereka pada salah satu netbook generik yang sudah dijual di sana.
I work for Epson (in the printer manufacturing division) and I must admit that even I am not a big fan of some of the designers’ choices. There are some designs that I jusf find plain ugly or boring or both. Just like that netbook above. What the printers lack in design, though, they make up for in quality :) Not sure about netbooks though since I haven’t used one from Epson yet.
Anyway, the Endeavor line of laptops from Epson has been around for some time now, though they’re only released in Japan. Anyway, it’s a good thing to see more competition :)
