HTC One X, One V set to arrive on 1st week of April

Listen to article

A source close to HTC Philippines tells us they are set to launch their quad-core HTC One X in the Philippines around the first week of April. Incidentally, the United Kingdom (via O2) will also be seeing the HTC One X land on their shores on April 5.

Only the HTC One X and the HTC One V will be released in the Philippines since the One XL, which has LTE, won’t be supported yet by local carriers.

HTC One X specs:
4.7″ Super LCD 2 display @ 720×1280 pixels @ 312ppi
1.5GHz quad-core NVidia Tegra 3 processor
1GB RAM
32GB internal storage
HSPA+ 21Mbps
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
NFC
Bluetooth 3.0
8MP autofocus rear camera, 1080p
1.3MP front-facing camera, 720p
GPS w/ aGPS support
1800mAh Li-Polymer battery
Android 4.0 ICS

The HTC One V could be the successor to the HTC Legend from two year ago if we just base it on the design alone (see that chin at the bottom end of the handset?).

HTC One V specs:
3.7″ S-LCD display @ 480×800 pixels 252ppi
1.0GHz CPU
512MB RAM
4GB internal storage
up to 32GB via microSD
HSDPA, HSUPA
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi hotspot
Bluetooth 4.0 with A2D
GPS w/ aGPS
5MP rear AF camera w/ LED flash
Beats Audio
HTC Sense UI v4.0
Li-Ion 1500mAh
Android 4.0 ICS

What we really wanted to know is how much these handsets will eventually cost once they become available in local stores. We’ll just have to wait and get additional information from our source and update you.

Love the huge screen on the One X. Hopefully it will be cheaper than the Galaxy Note.

Just last year people were hesitant on Dell Streak and now its becoming a new normal.

“If you live in the UK and are looking to experience the quad-core prowess of the One X without committing your next two years to a single carrier you’ll have to part with about f £479.95. Getting to own the ceramic-coated unibody of the One S will cost the slightly cheaper £429.95.”

from GSMArena article…so that around 32k for the ONE X and 29k for the ONE S.

whew i hope they are true lol.

@patricia

I sure hope 1800mAh is enough to last for atleast 8hours of continuous usage (wi-fi,3G, games etc.)
