HUAWEI Philippines has confirmed that the HUAWEI Mate X7 will officially launch in the country on February 19, 2026. The announcement also shared several key details ahead of the device’s local release.

The Mate X7 is a foldable smartphone with an inward-folding design. It features a 6.49-inch outer LTPO display and a larger 8-inch inner screen. Both displays use HUAWEI’s X-True Display technology and support multitasking, allowing users to open up to three apps at the same time.

For durability, the Mate X7 uses Crystal Armour Kunlun Glass on the outer screen and a reinforced multi-layer structure for the inner display. It also features an Advanced Precision Hinge and an aluminum frame. The device carries IP58 and IP59 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Camera-wise, the phone is equipped with a 50MP main camera and a 50MP telephoto macro camera. HUAWEI says the imaging system offers better light intake and more accurate colors, aiming to match the quality of its flagship non-foldable phones.

The Mate X7 is powered by a 5,600mAh silicon-carbon battery, with support for 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It runs on HUAWEI’s app ecosystem through AppGallery, which supports many popular local apps and services in the Philippines.

HUAWEI has not yet announced pricing details. Alongside the Mate X7, the brand is also expected to introduce the MatePad 11.5 S (2026) and the FreeClip 2 during the launch.
