Adobe Photoshop adds advanced generative AI tools powered by new Firefly 3 model

Adobe is supercharging its creative suite with more advanced generative AI tools built on its new Firefly 3 foundation model. This update prioritizes user control, offering designers more flexibility in their creation process.

With the new Firefly 3 model, users can generate more photorealistic images with improved lighting, object positioning, and more detailed rendering.

Tools like “Reference Image,” “Generate Background,” “Generate Similar,” and “Generate Image” will be integrated into Photoshop and other software. Hence, these new functionalities allow users to do more precise design adjustments.

Firefly 3 is currently in beta and accessible through the Firefly web app, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
