Listen to article

The DJI Neo 2 has been launched globally as per our previous report. However, it wasn’t able to reach the US as new DJI products aren’t released there due to political or market conditions.

In the Philippines, it’s priced at PHP 12,390. It has also been priced in other countries like Canada, UK, Japan, and ANZ (Australia and New Zealand).

This drone was made for beginners or users who want a simple device to take aerial footage. The DJI Neo 2 can be controlled with gestures and DJI’s app.

It also comes with more controls via the Fly More combo, which comes with the RC-N3 remote and costs PHP 20,590. This combo also comes with two extra batteries and a charging hub with three batteries.

In addition, the Motion Fly Combo comes with the DJI Goggles N3 and RC Motion 3 controller for FPV flights. This bundle comes priced at PHP 30,490 instead.

The DJI Neo 2 is available in the Philippines via Henry’s Cameras.

To recap the specs, the DJI Neo 2 weighs only 151 grams (160 grams with the DJI Neo 2 digital transceiver). It has a wind speed resistance of 10.7 m/s (Level 5) and a max flight time of 19 minutes.

The drone uses an omnidirectional vision system with forward-facing LiDAR paired with a downward infrared system. It also uses the same 1/2-inch sensor as its predecessor with a wider f/2.2 lens.

The single-axis gimbal has also been replaced by a 2-axis mechanism for tilt and roll. For recording, it’s been upgraded to 4K at 60 fps in horizontal mode and 2.7K at 60 fps in vertical.

The drone uses Wi-Fi to transmit video by default, but can be equipped with DJI’s O4 system. This comes at a few extra grams of weight with a range of up to 500 meters.

Readers should also note that the transceiver is sold separately but will come included with the Fly More bundles. Here’s most of the specs below. Full details are available on DJI’s website.
