Oura has introduced new hormonal health features for its Oura Ring Gen3 and Oura Ring 4, expanding wellness tracking for women through more detailed reproductive and menopause insights.

The company says its existing Cycle Insights feature now supports all hormonal birth control methods, which include pills, patches, IUDs, m and implants. Oura claims the update helps users understand how contraception affects their temperature trends, sleep quality, recovery, bleeding patterns, and other potential side effects.
Oura has also partnered with Twentyeight Health, which enables users to connect with licensed providers through the app to discuss contraception options and obtain prescriptions where supported.
Meanwhile, a new Menopause Insights tool has also been added, designed to monitor quality of life across 22 potential symptoms. It includes questionnaires and personalized explanations based on user responses and long-term biometric data.
Both features will begin rolling out globally on May 6. However, Oura confirmed the updates will only be available for the Series 3 and 4 smart rings.
