Sony Philippines has officially launched the 1000X THE COLLEXION in the country, marking the latest addition to its premium 1000X headphone lineup.
The new headphones were introduced at a launch event in Manila, where Sony positioned the 1000X THE COLLEXION as a premium model that blends audio performance, design, and comfort. The launch also coincides with the 10th anniversary of Sony’s 1000X series, which started with the MDR-1000X in 2016.
Sony says the 1000X THE COLLEXION is built around a bespoke 30mm driver unit and supports DSEE Ultimate, 360 Reality Audio Upmix, and the brand’s noise cancellation technologies. It also comes with Ambient Sound Mode, Adaptive NC Optimizer, Auto Ambient Sound, and Quick Attention features.
For connectivity, the headphones support Bluetooth 6.0, multipoint connection, and Sony’s LDAC codec alongside SBC, AAC, and LC3. A 3.5mm stereo mini jack is also included for wired listening.
Battery life is rated at up to 24 hours with noise cancellation on and up to 32 hours with noise cancellation off. For calls, Sony says it can last up to 16 hours with NC on or 20 hours with NC off. Charging is done via USB and takes approximately 3.5 hours.
Sony is also emphasizing the design and comfort of the 1000X THE COLLEXION. The headphones feature premium metal detailing, faux leather materials, and an over-ear closed-back design. They weigh approximately 320g and come in Black and Platinum color options.
The Sony 1000X THE COLLEXION is now available in the Philippines for PHP 36,999 through Sony Centres and authorized dealers nationwide.
