Listen to article

At WWDC 2024, Apple unveiled macOS Sequoia. The new operating system brings new means of working with transformative intelligence features to the Mac.

macOS Sequoia features iPhone Mirroring, which expands Continuity by enabling full access to iPhones from macOS.

As with iOS 18, Safari also gets a big update with the new Highlights feature. This makes finding information on web pages while browsing easier than ever.

Next, the Passwords app enters the fray, making it easier to manage and access passwords. Users can also organize their credentials in one dedicated place.

Gaming is also getting a more immersive experience with the Mac. A variety of new titles are coming soon, including Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, Resident Evil 7, and more!

macOS Sequoia also introduces Apple Intelligence for Mac users. As the new personal intelligence system for Macs, iPhones, and iPads, it combines generative models with personal context for maximum efficiency.

Apple Intelligence is built with privacy from the ground up, understanding and creating language and images while taking action across apps. It draws from personal context, simplifying everyday tasks for a seamless workflow.

The new system takes full advantage of Apple silicon and the Neural Engine, supporting every Mac with an M-series chip.

As a homebody, he often spends his time on the streaming platform Twitch or ‘farming’ gaming clips with friends. He is also an avid fan of round glasses and anything relative to blueberries.
