Xiaomi globally unveils razor-thin 5000mAh power bank

Following the release of the Redmi Note 14 Series in India, Xiaomi introduces one of its thinnest power banks yet.

Simply dubbed as the Xiaomi Ultra Slim Power Bank, it fits a 5000mAh battery capacity in a vessel measuring a mere 10mm thin and weighs only 93 grams. It utilizes lithium-ion cell with support for 18W input and 20W output via USB-C port.

The exterior comes with a metallic sheen in which Xiaomi claims to have NCVM surface treatment.

For charging protection, it deploys nine layers of circuit protection against overcharging, overcurrent, and overheating. Notably, it is safe for air travel.

While the product is accessible on Xiaomi’s global website, it is currently available in select markets. In China, the power bank retails for CNY 129 (~Php1,032).

Its local availability in the Philippines remains to be seen.
