Sony rolls out Android Nougat for Xperia XA, XA Ultra

Sony Mobile has rolled out the Android Nougat update for two of their Xperia smartphones – the Xperia XA, and Xperia XA Ultra.

The Xperia XA and XA Ultra were Sony’s mid-range offerings from last year. The former features a 5-inch display, 2GB RAM, and 13MP and 8MP rear and front cameras, while the latter has a 6-inch display, 3GB RAM, and 21.5MP and 16MP rear and front cameras. Both are powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 processor and shipped with Android Marshmallow.

As for the Nougat update, XperiaBlog says that it is now live for all five variants of the XA (F3111, F3113, F3115, F3112, F3116) with firmware number 33.3.A.0.127, and two variants of the XA Ultra (F3211, F3212) with firmware number 36.1.A.0.179.
