Converge ICT has announced that they have recently launched a new network node in Taiwan for better network resiliency and reliability.
According to Converge ICT, the newly opened node will serve as a buffer and backup to their current fiber network, to give the network “further stability and strength in the event that load and balance issues occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as environmental accidents or small quakes which affect physical infrastructures.”
The new node also has a direct connection to Google’s largest data center operating in Changhua County, Taiwan which will also help the company efficiently manage and route network traffic for consumer and enterprise-level users.
The Taiwan node will add to Converge ICT’s current nodes already present in Singapore, Hong Kong, and the US.
