Globe Telecom has silently launched a new self-install Postpaid Home WiFi service called Globe at Home Air.
This seems to be the new service the company is talking about back in June when it said it was launching a new fixed wireless broadband service that utilizes 5G Air Fiber technology. “Air Fiber internet, which makes use of fixed location wireless radios instead of fiber, could provide speeds ranging from 50 Mbps to 100 Mbps,” Globe CEO Ernest Cu said in our story last June.
The company also touts easy setup by just plugging it in a wall outlet and connecting to the internet to enjoy surfing.
The service comes with free six months of DisneyLife, Fox+, and HOOQ subscriptions. Sadly, it’s only limited in availability as of this writing and can only be applied when you’re from certain parts of Cavite (through their stores at SM Dasmariñas, SM Rosario, and SM Bacoor), and Bulacan (through Globe stores in SM Baliuag and SM Marilao).

Hi,
I checked with globe and they offer a number of plans for this service. You choose between LTE and MIMO. LTE offers less GB allocation so I assume its faster. Can you do a review of both?
