Globe to launch Broadband Availability Search Tool

Listen to article

During our one-on-one interview with the head of broadband from Globe Telecom today, they showed us a new tool that will assist potential customers from checking the availability of broadband internet in their area.

For now, it’s still in the beta stage but you can already search your exact address and it will tell you if broadband connection is available and if it’s just DSL or fiber.

So instead of calling customer service to ask if your area has broadband or fiber available, you can just check it in this search tool. Globe admits there could be some margin of error in the mapping tool (about 95% accurate) since some households are already in the borders of their coverage.

You can try out the Globe Broadband Availability Tool here.
