ソニー、My Xperia リモートセキュリティサービスを発売

ソニーは、Xperia スマートフォン向けの新しいリモートセキュリティサービス「My Xperia」を最近発売しました。

要旨として、My Xperia は、紛失または盗難されたスマートフォンを追跡する Apple の「スマホを探す」サービスに類似しています。My Xperia では、Xperia で使用している Google アカウントで myxperia.sonymobile.com にサインインするだけで、スマートフォンが自動的に My Xperia サービスとリンクされます。そこから以下のことができます:

スマートフォンの位置を地図上で特定する
アラートを鳴らして人の注意を引く – サイレントモードも無効化し、ディスプレイを起動します
情報を保護するために端末をロックし、連絡先情報を含むメッセージを送信する
必要に応じて、内部および外部の SD カードの情報/データを消去する

私のXperiaは現在、ICSを搭載した特定の2012年製Xperiaスマートフォン向けに北欧諸国で「段階的ロールアウト」中です。グローバルリリースは第2四半期を予定しています。

This looks like it will come out-of-box when out of beta. Cerberus-esque. A lot better than Find my iPhone which you have to install from the store.

Nope, this is not any better than Find My iPhone, which is built-in on iOS since iOS 5. And lasty, this is not even Cerberus-esque since it offers a whole lot more than this.
