The Snapdragon Wear 3100 is a new platform based on a new ultra-low power hierarchical system architecture with ARM Cortex A7 quad-core processors, Adreno 304 GPU, integrated DSP, Snapdragon X5 LTE modem, Bluetooth, WiFi, and a new ultra-low power co-processor, the Qualcomm QCC1110, for a better smartwatch experience with longer battery life.
新しいチップセットはGoogleのWear OSに対応しており、Snapdragon Wear 3100プラットフォームをベースにした製品の発売を発表した時計メーカー、Fossil Group、Louis Vuitton（Tambour Horizon）、およびMontblanc（Summit 2）も対応しています。
Snapdragon Wear 3100 プラットフォームは、Bluetooth と Wi-Fi の有線スマートウォッチ、GPSベースの有線スマートウォッチ、そして 4G LTE 接続スマートウォッチの3つのバリエーションで提供されます。プラットフォームは量産中で、本日出荷されています。
