It’s a grey market import that’s why it’s so expensive. Villman bought the Surface book at retail price, so you need to pay that, plus shipping to PH, plus customs duties and taxes. That said, buyers should be aware that there’s no official warranty available here in the Philippines. And since the surface pro line of computers are so hard to fix (Source: http://www.extremetech.com/computing/217397-microsoft-surface-book-teardown-reveals-almost-impossible-to-repair-design) if it breaks down in the Philippines, you can’t just go to Greenhills and have it repaired.
Makes it not very practical to own a Surface Book in this country.
