Razer unveils Nommo Speaker line

Razer yet again gave birth to a new line of devices this CES 2018. Meet the Nommo and Nommo Pro, a set of 2.1 and 2.0 speaker systems that belong to Razer’s new Nommo speaker line.

First up is the Nommo Pro a 2.1 speaker system certified by THX. It features Dolby Visual Speaker technology for simulated 5.1 surround sound, Range Dupont Kevlar coated drivers, two sets of Silk Dome tweeters and a cylindrical down-firing subwoofer, and Razer Chroma. The speaker system itself has a USB port, a 3.5mm audio port, Optical connectivity, and Bluetooth. It also has a control pod a headphone port for volume and source controls. Apart from that, users also have the option of connecting their mobile devices to the speakers via the dedicated “Nommo Pro” mobile app that is available for both Android and iOS.

Next up is the Nommo a 2.0 speaker system with custom Woven Glass Fiber 3-inch drivers and rear-firing bass ports. It’s pretty much your standard 2.0 system but with bass control and EQ setting adjustments. The speaker system has two variants — your standard Nommo and a Nommo Chroma which features RGB lighting, USB connectivity, and a built-in DAC.

The Razer Nommo Pro is priced at $499.99 (~ Php 25,175) while the Nommo and Nommo Chroma are priced at $99.99 (~ Php 5,035) and $149.99 (~ Php 7,552) respectively. The Nommo and Nommo Chroma will become available at Razerzone.com on January 9th with a worldwide release in January 2018. The Nommo Pro’s availability is yet to be announced.
