16” Lenovo Legion 5i, Legion 7i Gen 9 unveiled

In partnership with Intel, Lenovo is releasing 14th-gen Intel Core I-series powered Lenovo Legion gaming laptops here in Bangkok, Thailand (Lenovo Innovate 2024).

The hero products in the Legion series is the 16″ Legion 5i gen 9 and 16″ Legion 7i Gen 9, both of which comes with a plethora of hardware options to choose from.

The Legion 5i can be configured from a Core i5 to a Core i9, 8GB to 32GB of RAM, 512GB to 1TB of storage and options for GeForce 4050 to 4070 GPUs.

On the other hand, the Legion 7i will come with a Core i9 CPU, 16GB or 32GB RAM, 512GB or 1TB storage and GeForce 4050 to 4070 GPUs.

The laptops also feature the new Legion ColdFront Hyper thermal design with fans spinning inward, eliminating the discomfort of constant hot air blowing onto your hand while gaming (it now expels hot air to the rear). A dedicated sealed chamber maintains optimal system temperatures. This adds extra 25W of power in Extreme Mode, or a 2°C cooler experience and 2db less noise compared to previous generation.

No word as the the retail price of these units but they will most probably be released in the Philippines this April 2024.
