Archos joins this year’s bezel-less trend train with the launch of their latest flagship, but unlike all the other brands, the company did something different. Enter the Diamond Omega, Archos’ latest offering with, not an 18:9, but a 17:9 bezel-less display.
The Diamond Omega is powered by a 5.73-inch 17:9 Full HD+ (2040 x 1080) IPS display, Qualcomm’s current flagship Snapdragon 835 processor, Adreno’s 540 GPU, a whopping 8GB RAM, 128GB of non-expandable storage, USB Type-C, Android 7.1 Nougat, and a 3,100mAh battery. For mobile photography, the device is equipped with quad cameras, a 12MP + 23MP dual rear setup, and a dual 5MP front setup. The 12MP main rear shooter has Sony’s IMX362 Dual Pix lens and an aperture of f/1.8 while the secondary 23MP rear shooter has Sony’s IMX318 sensor and an aperture of f/2.0.
