ASUS ROG Phone 3 gets NCC certification in Taiwan

The ASUS ROG Phone 3, the brand’s upcoming gaming smartphone, gets certification from Taiwan’s National Communications Commission.

As seen on the certificate from the report of Dealntech, the smartphone bears the model number ASUS_I003D. It confirms that the smartphone is equipped with an A299-200150U-US model battery at 6000mAh, with up to 30W wired fast charging support. The document also indicated that it ships with a 512GB storage.

Previously, its TENAA listing indicated that it will sport a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. It will be offered with 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage.

An online leak from Weibo last month confirmed that the smartphone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset at 3.09GHz, thickness at 9.85mm, 16GB of RAM, and weight at 240g.

The ASUS ROG Phone 3 is set to launch on July 22.
