  1. Asus products are not as compelling as they were a year ago. While their top-tier Zenfone 2 (551ML) is speedy, it’s 15k price is not as tempting when there’s 7-10k alternatives (Meizu m2 Note, Cherry Mobile’s Flare X, Lenovo’s k3 Note) that can perform almost as well most of the time. Not to metion, the not so glowing user reports on that unit’s less than stellar battery life.

This ( Z2 max) could have rectified that flaw but they choose to pair with a (now low end) Snapdragon 410. Epic Fail unless they price it at less than 7k (highly unlikely). Note that the Cherry Mobile’s Flare Power (4000maH ) is just 5k and that have a better (at least based on benchmarks) chip.

    • Its different on paper and on real world application. People would buy for the brand that they can “trust” and has a good overall background history.

    • cm flare, too much flaws. battery? speed? gaming? its good when you read the specs, but completely different when you have it.

  2. Wow 5000mAH na battery. Ayus. Hehehe

  3. one thing though asus has the edge on software support and more frequent updates than cherry ,lenovo and alcatel and even sony kahit nq higher specs pa yung mang brands na yan

  4. any new update on what specific date will this come in philiipines??

  5. till now z5/z2 laser at selfie mabenta potek i bought z5 for the first time na nilabas sa ph. then bought z2 potek nmn di pa nag tatagal ilabas z5. pag kalabas ng z2 lumabas naman laser at selfie.i bought selfie kea utang na loob tagalan nyo pag labas ng bagoxD
