Yet another Asus Zenfone 3 is coming to life and it’s something we thought would never happen again. Since we already have a Max, Laser, Deluxe, and Ultra, then the Zoom is next.
Information from China’s certification agency, TENAA, lists the Asus Z01HDA or what we will the Zenfone 3 Zoom. The specialty of the Zoom variant of Zenfone is photography.
The Zenfone Zoom we had before offered a 13MP camera with a 10-element Hoya lens with 3x optical zoom. This time around, we’re getting dual-rear cameras. According to leaks, it will have a two 16MP rear sensors while the front-facing shooter gets 13MP. The rest of the specs list include 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 625, up to 4GB RAM, up to 64gB expandable storage, fingerprint scanner, and a 4850mAh battery.
As to how the dual-rear camera work is still a mystery. Different brands like Apple, LG, and Huawei have different takes with the feature. We’ll be on the hunt for more information but one thing’s for sure, it’s announcement is coming soon.
