Carbon Mobile announces world’s first carbon fiber phone

Carbon Mobile has announced the world’s first carbon fiver smartphone, the Carbon 1 Mark II.

Unlike traditional metal, glass, or plastic phones, the Carbon 1 Mark II is thinner and lighter, measured at 6.3mm at the thickest, and weighing only 125g. It comes with a 6-inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Under the hood, the Carbon 1 Mark II sports a MediaTek P90 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS2.1. As for the cameras, it features a 16MP + depth dual rear cameras and a 20MP front shooter. The device is running on Android 10 and powered by a 3,050mAh battery.

The Carbon 1 Mark II is available for preorder at their official website for EUR 800 or around PHP 45,000. Only 2,000 units are available for purchase and will be shipped by June 2020. Interested buyers are required to pay a downpayment of EUR 250, and fill out the EUR 550 15 days before delivery.

    But will it float when dropped on the water, I think bot. Does it have its back solar panels for charging? Front flash? OK it will not float (its heavy) but is it water proof for 50 feet?
