Cherry Mobile has released three of their newest smartphones from the Flare S series. Today, we’re taking a look at the Flare S7. Check out our impressions below.
Cherry Mobile made a significant difference with its design especially the back panel. Compared to its predecessor, the Flare S7 has a matte finish at the back and now has a polycarbonate material with a glossy coating. The device looks solid and premium at first glance.
On the front is a 5.5-inch screen with a pre-installed screen protection. Above, is the 13MP + 2MP dual front cameras, call speaker and sensors.
On the right is the usual power button-volume rocker combination.
On top is the lone 3.5mm audio port while at the bottom are the USB Type-C port, microphone, and loudspeakers.
Flip on its back and you’ll find the 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras, positioned vertically, with a LED flash and fingerprint sensor.
Just like with their previous iteration, the Flare S7 has a removable back which hides the dual-SIM card slots, micro SD slot, and removable 2,400mAh battery.
The Flare S7 is also lightweight due to its plastic build although we’re not a fan of its proneness to smudges and fingerprints.
The device is powered by a MediaTek MT6738WA processor, PowerVR GE8100 GPU, 2GB/3GB RAM, and an Android 8.1 Oreo OS. We’ll take the Flare S7 for a full spin in the coming days so stay tuned!
The Cherry Mobile Flare S7 is priced at PHP 4,999USD 85INR 7,222EUR 81CNY 620 for the 3GB RAM variant while the 2GB RAM is priced at PHP 4,599USD 78INR 6,644EUR 75CNY 571.
