Cherry Mobile recently unveiled its latest addition to the Flare lineup of smartphones, the Flare S8 Series. Included in the lineup is the Flare S8 Plus that boasts of a pop-up dual front camera mechanism, triple rear cameras, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, all powered by MediaTek Helio P70. Check it out!
Cherry Mobile has joined the pop-up camera trend with the Flare S8 Plus. It comes with a 6.26-inch FHD+ screen, with slim bezels all around, having an attractive full-screen display. It has a curved back, allowing the smartphone to sit comfortably against the palm. Because of that, the device has a bit of a wobble and doesn’t lay flat on surfaces. In the hands, there’s a slight weight and thickness to it, but can be overlooked in favor of its premium and high-end feel.
Over the rear, apart from its curved body, it also has a slight curve design at the top. One can also find the triple camera setup, consisting of 16MP + 5MP + 2MP sensors. While the back has a glass-like construction, the phone’s frame has a matte finish to it.
Found on the right are the volume rocker, power button, and a side fingerprint scanner. I have a fondness for Cherry Mobile’s side-mounted fingerprint scanners as I find it easier to use than rear-mounted ones.
Meanwhile, on the left, the S8 Plus has its hybrid dual SIM tray.
Housed at the top of the device are dual cameras that in a pop-up mechanism. That’s right! Cherry Mobile has equipped this device with two front cameras, composed of 16MP + 2MP shooters, respectively.
Located at the bottom are the speakers and a USB-C charging port. The S8 Plus belongs to the category of devices that have eliminated the 3.5mm audio port.
Powering the Flare S8 Plus is the Helio P70, combined with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 3,250mAh battery capacity. It also has face unlock as additional biometric security. While Cherry Mobile has not yet stated when the Flare S8 Plus will be available, it has been revealed to have a price tag of PHP 12,990USD 221INR 18,765EUR 211CNY 1,612. With that affordable price tag and interesting specs, we’re looking forward to when this device launches in the markets and then we’ll take a full spin of it.

Downgraded GPU running at 700mhz instead of the 900mhz beware of local brands they always manipulate hardware specification with false advertisement and seriously at 12k you can buy branded phones with system update and security patches.. this is a waste of money
