RIP Chris Evans’ iPhone 6S and its home button.
Captain America actor Chris Evans may very well be a man of the past as the actor had just revealed that his primary device had been an old 2015 iPhone 6S and that he is now retiring it.
As A-list celebrities, you would expect them to rock the latest and greatest gadgets, but not for Chris Evans. He and others alike would still go with the choice of keeping a device until the need comes to upgrade whether it be the device breaks or a substantial upgrade really is needed. Chris Evans took to Instagram to give his iPhone 6S a proper send-off by giving a heartfelt goodbye stating “We had a good run. I’ll miss your home button.”.
He even went on to mention all the struggles of owning an old iPhone such as struggling to get it charged, grainy pictures, or sudden battery drops from 100% to 15% to completely dead within minutes.
As it appears, Evans may seem to be upgrading to what appears to be an iPhone 13 Pro as it roughly has the same footprint as his old iPhone 6S and the shinier aluminum sides of a Pro model.
