HONOR 500 series launched

The HONOR 500 series has officially been unveiled in China. It features the HONOR 500 and HONOR 500 Pro.

The HONOR 500 features a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset with three configurations: 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB.

For cameras, the device is equipped with a 200MP main shooter with OIS, along with a 12MP ultrawide macro lens with autofocus. On the front is a 50MP selfie camera.

The HONOR 500 packs an 8,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. It is priced at:

Meanwhile, the HONOR 500 Pro keeps the same 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 8,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, and 50MP selfie camera.

The differences lie mainly in performance and cameras. The HONOR 500 Pro upgrades to the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and offers more storage options, going up to 1TB.

The rear setup expands to a triple camera system with a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with OIS, and a 12MP ultrawide macro camera.
