HP launches ZBook 14u/15u 5G workstation laptops

HP not only updated their 800 series EliteBooks, they also refreshed their budget-friendly ZBook workstation laptops. The new ZBook 14u and 15u come with updated internals and slimmer profiles.

Although technically these notebooks are still quite expensive, in the perspective of a workstation laptop they are pretty much budget. The ZBook duo now comes with a slimmer and sturdier chassis. HP put the notebooks through MIL-STD 810G testing and through additional benchmarks to test durability. Not only that but the laptops now have CNC machined LCD covers and an aluminum keyboard deck.

As for internals, the two models can be equipped with up to 8th generation Intel Core processors, Intel UHD 630 or AMD Radeon Pro WX 3100 graphics, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD.

The ZBook 14u starts at $1099 (~Php ) while the ZBook 15u starts at $1109 (~Php ). Both notebooks will be available sometime this month. Local pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
