HTC 10 to feature Super LCD display and 3000mAh battery?

The awaited flagship of HTC (dubbed as the HTC 10) is soon to be unveiled and just like other awaited smartphones in the past, the leaks are coming in fast. This time, @evleaks is at it again saying that the upcoming handset will sport a Super LCD 5 display and a 3000mAh battery.

“Not sure if this has been reported yet, but HTC 10 features a super LCD 5 display – not AMOLED. Battery = 3000mAh” This is what famous leaker Evan Blass posted on his Twitter page.

For those unfamiliar about Super LCDs, a quick Google search reveals that Super LCD displays have no air gap between the outer glass and the display element — giving its users improved outdoor visibility and better battery performance. It should also help reduce glares from light sources.

The HTC 10, if we were going to go by @evleaks’ info, would have a bigger 3000mAh battery compared to the 2840mAh battery that its predecessor had.

Other details from @onleaks from our previous report also suggests a USB Type-C port, 5.15-inch display, Snapdragon 820 CPU, 4GB RAM, and a 12MP main shooter. Stay tuned as we wait for more updates to prove if these rumors turn out to be true.

When people think battery capacity is everything :3 do also take note that latter techs applied to newer devices are far more energy-saving thus smaller battery capacity is expected yet longevity of usage is not sacrificed.
